As many of you know, Jay and I are not exactly living in our “dream home.” Jay is in school, and I am a stay at home mom. About 95% of our furniture was handed down to us from family members. That said is not to complain. We are so fortunate that we have people in our lives who want to help us out so much. Still, our house isn’t decorated completely the way it would be if we had the money to decorate it ourselves. Still, a girl can dream. Below, I have shared with you the product of my daydreaming. It is a complied list of all of the current home decor trends that I am loving.
Brass
This trend is amazing, because it can spice up even the simplest of spaces. At the same time, it can add that needed touch to a room already full of color. There are so many ways you can introduce brass into your house, but I personally love this light fixture from Esther & Co.

Marble
Thanks to our wedding registry, we actually do have quite a bit of marble in our home. I especially love the white marble. I think it looks so clean. We have it in our kitchen (paper towel roll and rolling pin), as well as in our bathrooms (soap dispensers, tissue box covers). I also love this marble defuser from Free People. It kills two birds with one stone by being functional, but also by serving as a decoration. https://www.freepeople.com/shop/aureole-cold-air-diffuser/?category=comforts-of-home&color=000&type=REGULAR&size=One%20Size
Greenery
I am LOVING the plant trend that I am seeing everywhere, but I just do not have a green thumb. Plants can also get pretty pricey. Luckily, you don’t have to break the bank or put too much effort into keeping anything alive to have a pretty plant friend in your home. This faux succulent would be such a perfect little addition to any room. Plus, it’s from Forever 21, so you know the price is good. https://www.forever21.com/us/shop/catalog/product/f21/home-and-gift/1000332557
Monochrome Pallet
My mom calls this look the “50 shades of beige” look. I feel like every thing I see in relation to interior design today has this all beige look with maybe a little touch of greenery. I love this throw blanket from H&M. This is another that can easily add a little something to a room without being too crazy expensive. https://www2.hm.com/en_us/productpage.0732876001.html
Wallpaper
That’s right, everyone. Wallpaper is not a thing of the 70s anymore. In fact, it’s becoming very big! If I had more money to design my house the way I would like to, I would put a big floral print in Hollings’ room. I love this tropical print from Shein! https://us.shein.com/Papaya-Bird-Print-Wall-Paper-p-742578-cat-1955.html
Love your ideas.
