My Everyday Make Up

Since a make up tutorial has been much requested, but I鈥檓 way too awkward to film a video, I have take step by step photos of how I do my everyday make up. These photos include a description of how I apply the make up and what products I am using. I鈥檓 not an expert with make up by any definition of the word, so if you know make up and see that I鈥檓 doing something totally wrong, I am sorry 馃檪

I start out with a clean face, some moisturizer, and some chapstick. I then use this brush to apply my NARS Sheer Glow foundation in the shade Medium 1.5.

I then apply this It Cosmetics concealer in the shade Light Natural. I just use my finger tips and apply under my eyes, in a triangle on my forehead, on the bridge of my nose, and on my cupids bow. I then just lightly dot the product in. I don鈥檛 rub,聽 because it pulls on my skin when I do that, which will cause your skin to stretch.

Then I set my foundation with this L.A. Girl powder in the shade Nude Beige. I use a powder brush and apply all over my face.

Then I use Prestige Cosmetics bronzer in the shade Terra to contour my face (I know that bronzer and contour aren鈥檛 necessarily the same, but I use them interchangeably. I take my same powder brush and I apply the product under my cheekbones, on the sides and underneath my nose, on my forehead in my hairline, along my jawbone, and on my neck.

Next I use Urban Decay Naked Illuminated highlight in the shade Luminous. I just use the brush that came with the product. I apply this on the bridge of my nose, my cheek bones, and on my cupids bow.

I then use a brow mascara in the color. I’m not sure who makes it or what color it is (which I am so sad about because I love it so much), but I do know that I got it at the drugstore. I just use the wand to apply the product on my brows.

Then I use my urban decay primer potion on my eye lids. I just put a little bit on each lid and rub it all over my eye lids from the bottom up to the brow bone.

Next I take the eyeshadow shade Cashmere Bunny from my Too Faced Natural Eyes pallet on a flat eyeshadow brush and i apply that on my lid.

I then take the shade Sexspresso and use a rounded fluffy brush (very official name here) and LIGHTLY apply it back and forth in my crease.

Then I take the shade Heaven on a fluffy angled brush and apply it on the inner corners of my eyes, as well as under my brow bones. Using that same brush, I blend all of the colors together.

Then I take my pencil Maybelline Define-A-Line eyeliner in black and gently apply it to my waterline. I never pull my skin down because it stretched it out. Instead I lightly poke under my eye to expose the waterline.

I heard that the rule is that when it comes to eyeliner, whatever you do on the bottom, you have to do that or more on top. So in other words, you can鈥檛 just have eyeliner on your waterline unless you also put some on your upper lid. I wish someone told that rule to 12 year old me whose idea of doing make up was putting eyeliner on my waterline, a little mascara on my lashes, topping the look off with some pink lipgloss and calling it a day. So, naturally my next step is applying liquid eyeliner on my upper lid right above my lashes. I also add a small wing on the outside, because I feel like it draws my eyes up.

Next, I apply my Sephora mascara in the color black on my upper and lower eyelashes. On my upper lashes, I apply on the top and bottoms of the lashes and do multiple coats. For me, doing multiple coats makes all the difference in the world.

I then apply a little bit of my NARS blush in the shade Torrid. I apply the product just to the apples of my cheeks.聽

Finally, I put on a little bit of lipstick. Sometimes if I鈥檓 in a rush, and I don鈥檛 have on quite this much makeup, I can get away with just putting on my tinted chapstick. However, when I have on this much make up, I find putting on real lipstick is absolutely necessary to making the look complete.

I hope that you all found this somewhat helpful! I know that video tutorials are so much better, and believe me I tried, but they were just painfully awkward.
