Let’s get one thing straight: I don’t bake. Cooking? LOVE it. But I just can’t bake. HOWEVER, there is one dessert I can make: peanut butter pie. There is minimal baking (if you can even consider it baking) and it is so delicious.
Ingredients:
-2 sleeves of Oreos crushed up into crumbs
-1 stick of butter melted
-2 cups of peanut butter
-16oz cream cheese
2.5 cups powdered sugar
2 16oz tubs of Cool Whip
Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Toss Oreo crumbs in melted butter and then evenly spread on the bottom of a greased 9×13 baking dish.
-Press the mixture into the bottom so that it creates a crust. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes. Remove and let cool.
-Using an electric hand mixer, beat the peanut butter and cream cheese together. Once completely mixed, add the powdered sugar and beat.
-Finally, add 16oz of Cool Whip (save the other 16oz for serving) and continue to beat. Once all mixed through, pour into the baking dish on top of the Oreo crust.
-Spread the mixture evenly, and then cool in the fridge overnight (or at least 2 hours).
