I and SO beyond happy that fall is here. Call me basic, but it is 100% my favorite season. Actually, from Sept. 1-New Year’s Day is just the best. I love the weather, the holidays, the excitement from the kids, and of course, the parties! With Halloween being just around the corner, I know my schedule will be pretty busy with different parties and fall festivals. Hollings has made it clear to me that this year she DOES NOT want to do a family costume. Sad, yes, but I knew this day would come sooner or later. Since I am not to play a part in her costume this year, I’ve already started looking for outfits to wear to all of the festivities that aren’t necessarily “costumes.” If you are in the same boat that I’m in, take a look at these examples!
Janine Knit Henley Blouse
This cute top is so versatile and could work for many different settings. It’s trendy with the puff shoulders, but not over the top, so you could be casual or dressy depending on what you pair it with. Its Rebecca Minkoff and is on sale from $98 to $39.
Alcott Knotted Top
Love this option for something less casual. I probably wouldn’t wear to a fall festival at Hollings’ school, but maybe an adults only halloween party. It would look great with high waisted jeans! This one is down from $59 to $29.
Chain Halter Top
I’ve been eying this one for a while, and now that it is down from $79 to $23, I might have to get it. I would style it exactly how the model has it – with a pair of high waisted wide leg jeans.
Mallorca Sandals
I for one am so happy that platforms have made a comeback! They are easier to walk in than regular heels and make your legs look thinner. This pair is so cute, but also give just the right amount of Halloween vibes. You won’t believe the sale! Down from $195 to $39.
Ivy Mini Dress
This is another party option! It has the cut outs, which we continue to see through out the seasons this year, but is seasonally appropriate with the long sleeves. This one is down from $79 to $31.
