If you’re anything like me, it might take you forever to pack. I always stress about what to bring/if I’m bringing the right things/if I have enough outfits, etc. Hopefully this short list of clothing items I always pack will help you the next time you’re stressing over what to bring on your next trip.
A White Button Down
A nice white button down is absolutely a closet essential. They are so versatile and never ever go out of style. Whether wearing it over a bathing suit to the pool, with a pair of jeans to brunch and shopping, or dressed up with a nice pair of pants or a skirt for dinner, it will never fail you.
A Pair of Jeans
No matter where I’m going, I always make sure to pack a pair of jeans. Yes – even to the beach (although in this case I might swap out the blue denim for a white pair). They are so easy and safe, and I have never been upset I packed them.
A Nice Dress
You never know what might come up when you’re on a trip. Even if you plan on never leaving the house/hotel/resort/etc., or if you don’t think you’ll be going somewhere nice, it’s just good to throw one in your suitcase just to be safe.
A Good Pair Of Flats
I am a heels girl through and through, but I have learned my lesson when it comes to not bringing comfortable shoes on a trip. Plus, you never know when you might go on a coffee run or a quick trip to the store and don’t want to put on your new platform heels.
A Sweater or Pullover
Even in my own house, I find myself grabbing a pullover in the chilly mornings or evenings. I always make sure I bring at least some sort of sweater on a trip. Weather might be colder than expected. The restaurant you’re going to might be chilly. The nights might get windy. The reasons are endless.
